For parts that move from trial to real use.

Colour
Graphite
Character
PETG is generally tougher and more heat-tolerant than PLA, and handles many chemicals better. In return it is more prone to stringing and asks for more care with print settings.
Use
- Functional prototypes
- Jigs and fixtures
- Enclosures
- Repeat part production
Limits
Knowing what a material can't do is half of choosing it well.
- Tends to string; retraction and temperature settings matter.
- Can bond too strongly to some build surfaces; a release layer may be needed.
- Absorbs moisture; drying directly affects print quality.
Planned specifications
- Diameter
- 1.75 mm
- Net weight
- 1 kg
- Spool / refill
- Under evaluation
